The American Safety Council (ASC) launched the first DMV approved online defensive driving course. Online delivery allows the course to be taken without time, cost or travel limitations. What’s even better, New Yorkers can take this course once every 3 years to maintain a discount in their car insurance premium.
The American Safety Council’s New York Internet Point and Insurance Reduction Course (IPIRP) includes the same material and time requirement as the live classroom course. However, you can take this course in sections, at any time of day and complete at your own pace. No classroom required.
